[Placeholder bio. Micaela is writing her own copy here.] I'm a writer, designer, and filmmaker with an MFA in Film and Video Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. My past work spans employer branding and content at ASML, plus production design, screenwriting, and editorial collaboration.
My own films include Rue's Eden, Fractured (distributed through Reel NW / PBS Seattle), and The Paranormal Shopping Network (Webby-nominated). I produced the award-winning Nzara '76, which received the Outstanding Achievement in Producing award at the First Look Film Festival.
I'm currently open to freelance, full-time, and representation.

Rue is struggling to find a way through her grief. The loss of Luke, her previous boyfriend, is dragging her into its depths. Rue enjoys the weight of it as it pulls her under. The guilt is gone there. In fact, she feels nothing, but it's only for as long as she can hold her breath.
